When my friend Walt Kolenda, better known online as Auctionwally, mentioned that he had a live memorabilia and autograph auction coming up that I might like I figured I’d take a look at it and then forget about it. Uh, no, I was immediately blown away by just how up my alley this auction was, I’ve scanned the listings several times now and still haven’t soaked it all in yet.
Well, I’d better get a grasp on it soon because Walt is calling the Mega Memorabilia and Autograph Auction live next week, May 27-28, in Orange, MA.
Comprising 879 lots the auction is a true vintage meld including signatures from William Howard Taft to Benito Mussolini to Clark Gable to Lucille Ball, but more on the highlights coming below. The majority of the lots open with just a $5 minimum bid, with several of the higher quality listings beginning only as high as $10, and the best news of all, we don’t have to leave our computer to bid–Yes, the auction is being called live in Orange, but we can bid online at AuctionZip:
