See the image of reverse to get an idea of the purpose of these Weight Machine cards. A passer-by would insert their change into the weight machine, step on the scale, and have one of these cards spit back at the them with their weight imprinted, or engraved, in the empty area in the middle of the card. This is one of several such film related sets issued by the Peerless Weighing and Vending Machine Corporation. Because of the cards practical use it's issued on a very thick board, frankly I don't know if you could bend it without breaking it. Movie actors and actresses are featured, as are a couple of television personalities and some recording stars of the period. All 40 cards from this
