1926 Societe Job Cinema Stars Cards

Beautiful set of black & white real photo cards with plain white backs. The front of the card includes the name of the star along with the brand name Cigarettes Job, which were issued by J. Bardou and Company out of Britain. According to the Murray Cards Guide there are four variations of this set, but a standard sized version as well as a slightly larger medium sized version--both sizes can be found both numbered and unnumbered. What we have on display here in sort of a picture checklist are medium sized unnumbered cards. You'll note I refer to the size as approximate, well, whoever chopped them up at the factory didn't really give it his all; the Societe Job cards I have seen vary in size by up to an eighth of an inch in length and/or width and you'll notice several, if not most, cards are miscut and show a portion of the next card on the sheet close to one of the edges. Even with these miscut faults these are very attractive cards, as you'll now see:
