1919 Ivan B. Nordhem Bread Premiums

The date is an approximation based upon the biographical information found on the back of these cards.  These are printed on paper stock and measure approximately 2-5/8" X 4".  More illustrations to come on this page in the future, but as for now here are examples of the two different backs found in the batch of bread premiums I recently acquired:

What's odd about the examples shown above of Jane Novak and Alice Brady is to be found on the fronts of these specific cards:

They are the same and are both in fact Jane Novak.  Very odd that the first couple of groupings of these that I would acquire would contain an error.  Another strange thing about this particular photo is the odd, almost Aboriginal in appearance marking on Novak's cheek in both cards.  These are the only one's I have which have this mark.  Before I saw the second Novak premium I assumed it was some sort of misprint on the first, but obviously it was contained in the print run since it shows up in two different examples disbursed by two different brands of bread.  Interesting.
