I’ve had my off eBay store open about 4-5 months now and one thing that had really been bothering me about it was a very slow page load. I’d been working to fix it for awhile, assuming the problem had something to do with the headers on the dialogue boxes — what appeared to be slowing the page is that these headers would kick all the way to the right of the screen, hang for 10-20 seconds, and then kick left. They weren’t the problem. It was the bit of code for my eBay listings at the bottom left of the page that was causing the hang-up. So I removed that tower of auction ads (which I did like) and for the sake of symmetry got rid of the tower of collecting-related ads as well. Now the page seems to load instantaneously. There are still links to my auctions at the top of every page in the main navigation. Hopefully this change will keep you shopping a little longer!

1948 Dinkie Grips card from Series 3 covering MGM films. Full cards with unpunctured “grips” area at bottom measure approximately 2-1/8″ X 4-1/4″. Issued out of Birmingham, England by Dinkie Products with ad on back for Dinkie Grips as well as other Dinkie Products (Dinkie Curlers and Wavesetters).
