If you want a lot of options, then Roy Rogers is a great star to collect! “The King of the Cowboys” was basically a franchise throughout the 1940’s and 50’s, his face appearing in many places and on many things for us to collect today. And most of it brings a tidy premium in terms of dollars.

When TCM uses a day to cover a theme or genre or movies it can be a blessing unearthing films you’ve never heard of or ever dreamed of seeing. Actually, if I scroll through my DVR it’s filled with multiple movies which aired on the same day under just these circumstances. But if you have no interest in that day’s theme, well, it’s pretty much a lost day.
