Roan Group Archival Entertainment. Bela Lugosi, Madge Bellamy. This is the copy to buy of this horror classic. If you don't believe me check some of the Amazon reviews. This has always been a great movie scarred by a notoriously lousy print, but Roan has used two 35mm prints to put together this much crisper version. I haven't had a chance to watch the extras but they include a commentary plus two Lugosi interview segments. Creepy flick.
Update: December 2005: I just watched this one again, and while the picture was as crisp as I recalled, I had a very hard time hearing the audio in spots when played on a Dolby 5.1 system. In fact, quite a bit of the dialogue was inaudible, but I could still watch the film as it practically plays out as a silent without titles! Lugosi was downright scary, though the ending was a little silly.
